Power Plant
These buildings do the obvious which is to power your NOD war machine. Without sufficient power your defenses, ability to construct, and ability to create mechanized units will be slowed down or stopped.

Tiberium Refinery
Any business that does not maintain a positive cash flow will more likely than not cease to do business. Defend this building and keep your army in business.

This structure is responsible for containment of excess Tiberium. If Tiberium collected exceeds capacity you will be losing money.

This is the equivalent of a barracks allowing NOD commanders to train your troops and construct base defense structures. Additional options become available later in the game.
