Command and Conquer 3 Description
C&C3 will take real time strategy gaming to a whole new level, let us explain why. C&C3 will be using an updated version of The Battle for Middle-earth II SAGE Engine. Their goal is to have the fast game play of the original Command and Conquer. We can expect enhanced game mechanics such as fast troop responses, improved pathing(Point A to Point B), improved unit look. Also to be expected are standard game elements such as managing your resources, bases, and units in battle. The GDI and NOD will have the same military strength type characteristics. GDI favors heavy firepower, in your face type frontal assaults, and plenty of up-armoring of vehicles. NOD will continue to use sneaky bastard tactics and their stealth technology.
If you have viewed, listened, or read any of the interviews you probably get the same feeling we do. They are going to really go all out on this game. This is one of the most amazing gaming series, you think they want to let anyone down? No way! We can tell there is true love and dedication to making this a great game.
The great part about C&C3 is that they will be bringing back some of the most popular units in the game such as the Stealth Tank, The Mammoth Tank, and the Orca. The favorite part we have heard about is talk about some of the new units such as the mean battle mechs. Other new units for command and conquer will include the Fire hawk fast attack jet and the Predator battle Tank.
The old super weapons we came to love will still be part of the game(Ion Cannon, Nuke). We are hoping other super weapons are put in the Mix to spice things up. Who doesn't love super weapons?!?! In C&C3 the AI will be smart and adapt to your play style.
Harvesting Tiberium will play a major role for both sides to fund and resource the respective armies. Tiberium Flow Management will be crucial if not fatal. We imagine tactics of taking out opponents harvesters to be part of the game.
