Global Defense Initiative (GDI)
Formed to uphold the United Nations Charter and to protect the world from fanatical terrorist group The Brotherhood of NOD. Backed by the G7 the GDI has some of the worlds best technology and military infrastructure. Up to this point GDI always wins because they are the good guys but that all may change. In classic GDI style they GDI favoring head on tactics, strength in heavy weaponry and plenty of armor. Recovering from its loss of space station Philadelphia and a simultaneous sneak attack by NOD, GDI definitely has its back against the wall as this game starts in 2047.
